ICSI

Hi all, this is my first time on this forum but just wanted to ask a few questions.
We have been ttc for over 5 years now, and we did a six month stint on clomid with no outcome from that.  We have just went throught our first cycle of ivf however they done it icsi at the last minute and we have one  good sized embryo, which was put in on Monday(day 3 embryo) it was a grade 2 6cell, although they said it was almost 8 cell (egg retrival was last Friday)
Does anyone know how long this wil take to implant and what the symptoms are, I have had slight cramps today, and breasts are feeling abit tender today.  I have also been wondering does it matter if you sleep on your side or back, just don't want to hurt my little embie and want to make sure it implants safely.  Any advice would be a godsend.
Thanks so much for listening

P.s. Good Luck to you all who are trying and going through the same!

I too went through ICSI, I noticed very light cramping around 7 days past my 3 day transfer. I never had inplantation bleeding. I was also taking progesterone supossitories, which unfortunately mimic pregnancy symptoms, so it was hard to gauge what was the pregnancy and what was the medication. I am now 15 weeks pg. As for sleeping, I am a stomach sleeper and slept like that until my baby bump got too uncomfy. Good luck with your 2WW and just take it easy.

I had 2 8 cells embies with IVF #2  and ICSI and am now 4 weeks pregnant. It's still very early. I had extremely sore breasts , cramping and twinges, extreme thirst and hunger throughout. I'm sure it's all thanks to the progesterone. I thought AF was coming throughout. With a 3 day transfer I've heard it implants 48 to 72 hours later. I have had absolutely no spotting or bleeding. I have a very sore lower back and for the last 3 days insomnia and very gassy. i've been sleeping on my side and back alternately whatever feels comfortable. Best of luck and stay positive. I had almost written off this cycle because of the period-like symptoms, which still continue. After the first positive beta the wait is even more excrutiating. Hang in there and lots of sticky baby dust to you.

I am in the 2ww, second IVF with ICSI this time. I didn't feel much at all, sometimes a little sore on lower back. Taking more relax this time, not hoping much coz I know I will be devastating if the blood test is negative again.

Anyway..there's not much I can do, leave it to GOD.
