SHE QUESTIONED ME ALOT ABOUT MY METFORMIN AND WAS I TAKING IT, I TOLD HER YEAH BUT THATS NOT TRUE I ALWAYS SEEM TO MISS A DOSE SO COULD THIS BE THE REASON? SHE ALSO SAID THAT I HAVE A LOT OF EGGS AND THAT SHE REALLY DIDNT WANT TO MANY EGGS TO MATURE? IM WONDERING IF THATS REALLY THE CASE OR IS SHE HOLDING SOMETHING BACK? ANY RESPONSES???

I agree with Anya. Must be PCOS with that many follicles, and to help reduce the number of immature follicles and get one or more to mature, you need to take the metformin. Best of luck to you! Hopefully, once you start taking it regularly, you'll see a big difference in the number and quality of the follicles!

Yes, according to your story, your doctor is correct. You should take your metformin regularly because it helps regulate your follicles. If you have that many, its not normal, I think you have PCOS syndrom?  When you will start taking fertility meds, your follies will mature and doc wouldn't want to see more then 2-3 mature follies to get your pregnant because there is a huge chance of multiples. SO, you need to take your metformin and ask for advise on how you can lower your number of follies. Otherwise, they cannot proceed with getting your pregnant. I had about 35 follies and I had to take metformin for months, then after  fertility meds, I only had 3 mature so that was what they were looking for. Let me kow if you need more help
