IUI-looking for a 2WW buddy

I had my first IUI this morning (Saturday) after getting an HCG (Pregnyl) shot on Thursday. I can not test until November 29, 2009. I am hopeful, but not sure what to expect. My husband has two varicoceles and I have PCOS. We just happened upon a viable follicle on Monday when I had my first consult with the RE. She was surprised too. My husband's sperm wash showed good motility so we shall see. So far since the shot I have had headaches and a little tired. Don't want to get fooled by the HCG symptoms as pregnancy, but I know it will be hard. I also have to take the Progesterone capsules vaginally starting Sunday night b/c my uterine lining was a little thinner than she wanted.

I hope that you guys get your positives and don't have the heartbreak of seeing that one line that I am sure all of us have grown to hate.  I am 6dpiui and I am feeling so lightheaded today but I am sure it is not related since it is too early.  I had my shot class today and I so hope that we don't have to go through with the shots, exspecially since my husband acted like he was stabbing the model when he practiced.  Yikes!  Kepp the updates up and hope we all get a happy, positive result.

Did you do HCG shot before IUI? I can't remember. It may still be in there. My 14 days is up on November 28, but they told me to wait until November 29th b/c you can get a false positive. Waiting *****! I hope this turns into a BFP for you! Sending you lots of baby dust! I will keep you in my prayers!

Doc doesnt want to see me till monday..unless AF comes and I told her she wasnt invited! So we will see..took one this AM and saw a faint line again but not sure it if was already there r if its detecting hcg in my system...my 14 days will be up friday so I will test again then....Maybe I just dont know if I can take the heartache again if its only 1 line....Went ahead and got dr's office to call in my next rounds of meds just in case!

oh wow ...that sounds like good news to me! I hope and pray it stays! what day are you supposed to be tested? This is the most stressfuill two weeks of my life ! I looked right away while i was getting ready this morning and i only saw one line, so ...of course i got quite upset while getting ready for work....then went and made my lunch....when i came back to the bathroom i had two line...it was very faint but it was there.
I hope both of our 2nd lines STICK !

Ok so I POAS and forgot about it after I saw the 1 line...before the 3mins up.....then bout 3 hours later went back and saw 2 lines...Read the instructions and said negative should not be read after 10mins and positive result last 48 hours...Im testing again in the AM but Im thinking its a go!!

I saw your posting about your progesterone levels. 41? is that good? I am so new to all of this. I hope it's a good sign. Sending you lots of baby dust!

All: Still having the metallic tast when I eat. 9dpiui and I am dying to test. I figure I may be able to hold out until Friday or Saturday, but there is no way I can wait until Sunday. I bought a 3 pack with two regular tests and 1 digital from Clear Blue Easy. As for the rest of me, still bloated, headaches, tired, and some cramping. As usual we will see.
