We've had two failed attempts for IUI.  Dr. says to try at least 4 until moving toward IVF.  No blockage or issues with me and no abnormality with him.  We are going on 2 years if trying with one MC last year.  Frustrated and sad.  Has anyone had success with IUIS and how many attempts did it take?  Please send positive energy our way :)  thanks!

Looks like we both were using the same kinda meds.  Letrozole is another name for femara.  So far i only had one follie.  Never had more than 1.  I am not sure if upping the dose will help.  Will hv to talk to my doc if this fail.  Good luck to u.  I know it is very frustrating.

Good luck to you :)  I did Femara, menopur and a an hcg.  We couldn't move forward on month because I had 6 mature eggs, the next 4 and then 3.  We have all the right component,but no success :(.  I will pray for you :)

Btw what kind of meds were you taking before they did the iui.  I had 2 diff doc that did my iui.  My first one was done by my gynae.  I was on clomid back then.  Not much work was done.  My 2nd one was done by a fertility doc.  I took letrozole on day 3 to 7.  Menopur shot day 3, 6, 9.  Then hcg shot on day 10.  They monitored my follicles and lining.  I can just hope and pray for now.  And ohhh.  With my fertility specialist, they will do an iui twice for a cycle.  Which is today and tomorrow.  My gynae just did my iui once in a cycle.

I had iui done in Apr and failed.  Went to a fertility doc.  Underwent laparoscopy to get rid of scar tissues and a bad tube.  Had another iui done today.  Will hv to do another tomorrow.  So we will see how it works.
