IVF in Illinois

HI, has anyone had an IVF in Illinois and posisbly suggest best clinics ? There are several options in an online serach and they post great success records as well, but that itself makes me unsure If someone has had any IVF and can recommend clinics, share experience that would be very helpful.

Thanks!

What part of the state are you in?  I'm sure there would be more options in the Chicago area...but St Louis may have some too...

I go to the Fertility centers of illinois (fcionline.com) There IVF success rates are great and I will be soon starting my first IVF cycle. They have offices in chicago and in the suburbs. I use the Naperville office Dr. Meika Ulher....

Thanks for the response - yes, I'm in the Chicago suburbs. My diagnosis was done (and a diag laporoscopy scheduled) at FCI, but was wondering if they would be good for an IVF too. If I choose another clicnic, do I need to take all the tests again ? Sorry if this came as a silly question - I'm completely new to thh concept of visiting hospitals and doctors :-(

I was extremely happy with my clinic: www.chicago-ivf.com/Default.aspx
they have several offices in and around Chicago, but the IVF procedures are done at their River North location downtown.  I am currently 35 weeks pregnant through IVF, age 40, using my own eggs.  I think they would probably want to do all of their own testing.

I am frustrated with fci though because I'm a teacher and have to be at school on time and they are sooooooooo slow getting you in and IF they can and make stupid mistakes.  It's like an assembly line.  It's like job or ivf, with FCI, you can't do both... and they don't care... they have too much business.  Is there any place that has better hours and locations and gives you more personal attention?  Had a failed IVF in June at Highland Park IVF center

Thats unfortunate. I haven't had any problems getting appts and I am there almost every other day to get bloodwork and ultrasounds. The RE there is super nice and takes her time with you to answer any questions and her nurse is awesome too. I too will have to go to River North IVF center for my IVF. I can see how it may be a problem if you work day shift since most stuff needs to be done from 7am-10am. I have been fortunate enough since I work pms 3p-11p. And my job is great about needing time off. I work at a hospital. The other thing is that they stictly follow a protocal. If you suggest a med or anything out of there protocal they won't do it.
