Bleeding 13 after embryo transfer

I am 35 and have been trying for a baby for the past three years after having had a myomectomy two and half years ago, followed by two keyhole surgeries to check my fallopian tubes in the past two years.  I have just been on IVF treatment and had embryo transfer thirteen days ago.  I took my last Gestone injection on Sunday, and was shocked to see that I started bleeding yesterday.  Up to now I am bleeding but it is all clots, and deep red in color.  Was I pregnant?  I only felt pregnant a week after the embryo transfer, but my body was normal last week.  I don't have any sign of pregnancy but I am still going to do the pregnancy test tomorrow as advised by the doctor (14 days after the transfer).  

But I am so worried, yesterday I closed myself in my room and sobbed all afternoon.  However, the bleeding is not as heavy as my normal period gets and I haven't even taken any period pain killers.  Could it be because I have been taking Gestone?  I always have very heavy periods and have to take Nurofen to stop the terrible pain.  I hope someone understands and can help me please?????  Thanks

I bled the day of my first HCG - (9 days post transfer)  they only implanted two and I had twins - so we don;t know what it was?

I had my IVF transfer on sept18th my breast are very sore .My 1st Beta result is 39 kind of low and scary because I start from dark red to bright red blood . I do not even want to go for the 2nd Beta .I think I failed . Good luck to you . really need some support.

I had the same with my 1st IVF which was this month. I had bleeding with period cramps ranging from brown to dark red to bright red with clots.It was not the same as my period flow, I was only on my thin apd and did not have to change it every 2hrs cause it was soaked. My Dr said it's normal could be implantation. Sometimes it happens late which might be your case, also if you have had more than 1 embryo implanted it could be that 1 embryo or more detached. This is what I think happened to me, it will all be confirmed once I go for my 1st u/s next week. I did however cave in and did 3 HPT and all were positve and did 2 Beta and they came positive. So don't stress, bleeing is more common with IVF transfer, just occupy yourself with something else and Good luck for tomorrow. Keep us updated.
Also my Dr put me on bed rest the whole time I was bleeding? something for you to think of they say it might help the process of implantation.
