Irregulat

I have been having irregular periods for about 8 months. I went to the dr recently and they did a bunch of tests. the dr started me on birth control pills to try to regulate my period then i received a call stating my uterine lining is a little thicker than usual. Can this be contributing to me being unable to conceive? I just want to know if anyone can relate. I really need some encouragment. HELP!

Well i think you should do what is best for you.But don't take both at the same time bcpills and clomid, there is also natural stuff like chaste berry to start your period google stuff and find more options i'll search too KIT;)

I got a call 2day from the dr and was told my testosterone level was a little high n that the birth control pills should help my periods become regular. i did tell her that i wanted to have a baby. so should i go to mexicali and get some clomidin or something? i live 5 minutes away from the border.....

Thanks 4 the info. I'm ready 4 my baby. I was also thinking maybe i've waited too long. My daughter is 17 and I have not tried to get pregnant since I had her. My fiance and I really want a baby so I am gonna talk to my dr. TTYL.

Hi guapa616 the reason i don't think you should take bc pills is because you are ttc ask your Dr and see if you can get another option like prometrium for your periods to come cus then it will be a waste of time when you should be trying to get pregnant think about it i took bc pills for a year to try and regulate my cycle and it never got regular but again your body might be diffrent so see whatr your Dr says or try a diffrent Dr till you get the one that wants to help you to conceive k ((((hugs))))

Well the dr advised me to take birth control pills for 2-3 months to try to regulate my period so that i can ovulate. So u think i shouldn't take them? I was told my uterine lining was a little thicker than usual b4 i took the birth control. Any advice will be helpful.
Thank u soooo much for the encouragement and the baby dust! : )

hi guapa 616
As far as i know your lining should thin out in order to have a period so if you don't have a period you can't ovulate the only time it should thicken is when it's getting ready for baby after you ovulate and about the birthcontrol pills if you're ttc you shouldn't take them. I had an option to take prometrium to start my periods and then take femara(letrozole) to help me ovulate. I got pregnant but i miscarried so we are trying again. So don't worry or stress out cause it will all come in due time.God gives us patience for a reason :) hugs and lotsa baby dust...
