Is it possible to O as early as CD10 on Femara?

Last cycle I took 12.5 mg of Femara on CD3-7 and O'd on CD16.  This cycle I did the same thing.  Only it's CD10 and I swear that I am having O pains (I get really bad O pains when on fertility meds)!  Has anybody else O'd this early on meds?

I do chart my BBT, but the last two days were unusally high, so I didn't record them on my tracker.  I just assumed it was from getting up and getting water.  Then I thought maybe this morning I was getting sick.

I have a u/s scheduled with my RE tomorrow morning to check follies in preparation for IUI.  So at least I know I'll find out what is going on then.  But I will be really disappointed if I did O this early and we can't do the IUI.

Bridgette...you never know!  Maybe this early O was a good thing and to find out by u/s that you did O and there is an egg is at least somewhat hopeful, right?  And maybe you covered your bases and you will get that BFP after all!!

Well I just got back from my u/s with my RE.  I was right, I did O already.  She saw that one egg had dropped.  She wanted my DH to come in ASAP and do the IUI this morning.  But we had BD'd at 12:30 this morning, so I didn't know how many swimmers he had left in him.  And with only one egg, I couldn't justify spending the money (we can only afford one IUI this year).

She agreed that tomorrow would be too late.  She's going to have me come in on CD9 next cycle for the u/s.

We BD'd Thursday night, 12:30 this morning and she said to go for it tonight and tomorrow.  So I feel confident we'll have all our bases covered, I just don't believe it will result in a BFP.

Oh no that's the pits!!  I'm so sorry!  I would still call in the morning and ask if they can do an IUI tomorrow or Sunday!  But I guess you can still try it "au natural" so it isn't a total waste!
It is hard to know what to expect on these meds.  cd10 would be way early for me but everyone is different.  My first cycle of femara cd3-7 I ovulated on cd13 with a 20mm follie and got prego with my dd.  Now we are TTC #2 and last month on femara I got a + OPK on cd16 with a 21mm follie.  This cycle is cd12 and I only have 12mm follies.  (Last month on cd12 they were 17-18mm.) It is frustrating - I hear ya!!  You just don't know what your body is going to do month to month!

Well when I got home I did an OPK and have an LH surge!  WTH is up with that?  Now we won't be able to do the IUI :(  I wish I would have known sooner so I could have canceled my appt for tomorrow and not have wasted the money.

I have never taken Femara. When I was on Follistim (injectible), I o'd on CD10. I was concerned it was too early, but my RE said that is enough time. I got pg that month so it was really okay. Good luck!
