It is another miscarriage:(((

I had blood work doen on frinday and another one this morning, which showed that my hormone levels are going down. So I am waiting for another miscarriage! I am just sooo depressed right now.
I am currently on prometrium, and was wondering if i should stop the prometrium and let it happen naturally. Did any of you miscarry while on prometrium? did your doctor told you to stop the pills? I cant reach my doctor today and dont know if I should take today's pill.

Thanks

Yikes, I am so sorry.  Talk to your Dr about stopping the progesterone... I can't imagine why she would keep you on it since it will just delay resolution.  You can also come over to the Miscarriages Forum-- there is a ton of support there from some of the most wonderful women.

Hang in there, I know it's hard.

Hello.. i'm so sorry to hear this : (   it breaks my heart.. i wish there were words that could make it better, going thru two myself since this summer i do understand.. as far as the progesterone goes.. the first mc i had my body didn't know i had an unviable pregnancy (it was a blighted ovum) so i stopped my progesterone and still didn't bleed for three weeks : (   and continued to have preg symptoms.. but turns out the placenta was still growing, so the number wasn't going down at that point.. with my second one, we were frantically increasing the progesterone and i continued to bleed and have a miscarriage while on the progesterone.. I remember not knowing if i should stop the first time, i wanted to give every chance for a miracle to happen.. i thought well i've heard of it happening, anything can happen.. most of the time the progesterone will just delay the inevitable if your numbers already going down, but i'd just call your doctor and ask, it won't hurt to take today's pill just to be safe, juts might delay if you are giong to miscarry.. i'm so sorry..My prayers are with you and your family!

I am sorry about your miscarriage.  They are terrible.  I had one this time of year a couple years ago....certainly puts a damper on things!    When I was having my hcg levels go down, i was told to stop the progesterone.  It's pretty pointless when the numbers go down.  I think it also will delay AF.  I am sorry!! My prayers are with you.
