It's official!!!
Yep, went fo rmy beta this morning at 9 a.m. The nurse called at 12 p.m. I'M PREGNANT!!!!!!! My HCG is 289 and my progestrone is 112. She said these were good numbers. Technically, I'm 4wks and 2 days today, which is crazy cause I only had my transfer on 08/16/2008. Go in Tuesday for my Beta unless good ole Gustav doesn't hit us. Does anyone know how high the numbers need to be to proceed with the ultrasound.

for the ultrasound it depends on your doc
most REs will not want an u/s until 6 weeks because there is no point in one until you can see a heartbeat
some (please don;t be offended but IMO the ones who are moneyhungry) will do one once your HCG reaches 1500 - why so they can see sacs?? who knows I am very opinionated about that!

My RE told me they like to see the hcg around 100 at 4 weeks, so yours looks really good. Depending on the quality of the ultrasound machine, they can usually see something with a transvaginal u/s between 1000 and 2000 hcg.

A big fat CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew it would happen for you. I will have my last Beta with my RE and that will make it my third and then an ultrasound and then I will be transferred back to my OB. I am thrilled for you!!!!!!!!!
My RE told me she would not be sending me to my ob. I will visit with her until 12 weeks, and then she will probably be sending me to a specialist for precaution. Is this normal? I have read many women go back to the OB pretty quick.
Congrats! Your beta looks nice and high. You will not have an u/s for another 2-3 weeks. For them to see anything you need beta of at least 1200.
