June-July 2011 IVF Cycle Buddies

Hi there;

Quick intro. I was actually a may-june cycle ivfer and cycle got cancelled as my response was very low. hence i am moved to june july cycle today. i would be put on estrogen priming protocol this time. last time it was gonal-f lupron supression protocol which didnt work for me.

my numbers are not too great. am 33. AMH low FSH slightly elevated though follicle count is good; didnt seem to be working for me.

Hoping for the best this time. did anyone had EPP protocol? is it complex really tough or is it ok?

CD15 - still LH surge negative. no smiley yet :(. she may not smile at me this month. hence cycle might be pushed to next month. have been reading a lot about ovulation after a cancelled cycle and seems delay is common. in some cases it takes 3 months to get back on track and in some cases a month

CD14 - LH Surge still negative. :( Waiting eagerly for the smiley to start my second IVF cycle :( no luck so far.

CD12 - LH Surge - Neg. Might get smiley tomorrow. Then will give a call to the nurse.

I get my meds tomorrow. i use estrogen patches this time. i never used transdermal patches in the past so i am excited thank god it is not another shot :)

i wish all the IVF shots turn into transdermal in the future. :)

Sorry to know that you are pushed back; anyway; hope for the best. i am sure miracles are coming closer to each of us.

Well, now that my current cycle got delayed a week, I guess I am more of a June/July IVFer too.  They still have me on Lupron and I go back to the Dr on Thursday to see if the cyst has gone down and I can start my stim meds.  Thank the Lord AF started yesterday (that was the other thing that delayed the cycle), so that's on less thing to worry about.

I haven't heard about the EPP, so I'm no help with that...sorry.  

Trying to stay positive and upbeat and most days I'm doing pretty well:-)

Any inputs on estrogen priming please? is it tough ???
