Hi Heather
Thank you for that, it seemed to work, as I mentioned to bny807, I would suggest you get a copy of "Taking charge of your fertility" or visit the authors website www.tcoyf.com, I have found this book very insightful.
Good luck
hello! i['m so sorry to hear that you're having to deal with this! LUFS is one of my many diagnoses.. so i know a little about it! but the number one cause of it is PCOS, the number two is endometriosis.. so i don t' think that hypothyroidism would be the cause (however you never know!) my pcos is very very mild as well, all my hormones were in the normal range and i have periods every 30 days, NONE Of the symptoms of pcos, except by ultrasound it appears that way on my one ovary left...
so what they did for me (we do IUI's) and so they give me the strongest trigger injection (ovidrel dien't work esp with the LUFS - none of my follies ruptured)
so i use novarel, and even then only 1 in 3 or 4 rupture : ( i started metformin just to try it, even though i have a mild case i was willling to do anything..it actually did help, i had 3 out of 4 follies rupture on the first cycle of metformin and we got preg, but unfortuantely miscarried
if you have LUFS where none of the follies ever rupture then IVF is the treatment of choice.. GOOD LUCK let me know if i can try to help you with anything!
I'm sorry, I don't really have any experience with PCOS or LUFS, but just thought I'd bump up your post in case someone else does...
