LOL - True enough.... where else, but on Medhelp, could we have open discussions about Semen Analysis, Cervical Mucous, surgery on our reproductive organs and all these other delightful things that I really had no idea existed before TTC!

Just wanted to wish you all the best with your surgery tomorrow.  I hope that everything goes well and you make  a speedy recovery.

I'm going for a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy on Aug 20, so I would love to hear how things go, if you dont mind sharing.

Hey i went to three different docs all three said I have the option of trying to repair them but they recommended removal and that many docs dont explain to their patients that keeping them in some cases limit your success of IVF. So after thorough research and different doctors I went ahead and decided to do it TRUST me I wish there was alternatives The knife freaks me out n that fact that pregnancy with out IVF will NEVER be possible. Thanks a Million for your comment and concerns it means alot. Blowing baby dust your way :~)

I have had other laps done and they're not that bad. Little incisions that are like an inch long. The first 24 hours are the worst (until you get all the gas pressure out)( they fill your belly up with gas in order to be able to see and manuever) The sooner you are able to get up and walking the sooner that discomfort goes away. PAin pills are suuficient for pain control. A couple of days and your good as new.

is there something wrong with your tubes?  if not, why you need to remove them... IVF doesn't require to have tube remove.

I did have laparoscopy in 4/17... you won't feel a thing because they put you to sleep.. when I woke up.. I woke up at the recovery room.. doctor will take pictures and let you see your inside uterus about 2 weeks after the surgery...

I was lucky.. after the surgery.. I got pregnant a week after.... My left tube was block and he went in the flushed it...

I am not sure why you have to remove your tubes.. but you need to ask doctor twice before you do that...
