Welcome to part three ladies!!! the other post started to take to long to load so here we are beginning another!!


Ladies I am soooooo confused!!!!! I tested this morning and got BFN...:( so sad!!! But my temp this morning was 97.97 up from 97.88 yesterday, so its still rising. My boobs hurt, I had horrible heartburn all night which I never get unless Im pregnant, couldn't sleep for nothing, and was extremely nauseous!! I don't know whats going on...Im on CD34 17dpo AF is usually here by 15dpo 31 day cycles, there is not any sign of her showing. Im so confused and lost, this is crazy!!

Oh ashleigh I am so sorry to hear that.  YOu want my honest opinion.  I think you are pregnant.  Just wait a few days like tomorrow or Saturday and then test again.  Some women didn't get their BFP's until 18dpo.  I am keeping my fingers crossed.  On another note I feel like you felt yestereday this morning.  My temp went up to its highest number.  I am so nervous just thinking it is a fluke.  I woke up and was like let me just take this cause I was already expecting it to go down but it said 98.9.  My coverline is 97.94.  This time last month it was on its way down.  I hope it doesn't play a dirty trick on me like go all the way down tomorrow.  If it stays up tomorrow then I will test on Saturday.  

ad_06-what's the verdict?  Are we preggo yet?

chickymamma and lamb- wow they make you girls wait a long time for u/s that sucks. I would want one earlier anyway just b/c i would want to make sure the baby is in the right spot and its not like a blighted ovum or something...that is what scares me.

I have my first prenatal appointment next week. I'll be 6 weeks. The doctor said I was 5wks 4 days but I think i'm 4wks 4 days...not sure how he got that number. What do you girls think? The first day of my LMP was Dec 8th. He said my due date was Sept 15th...I keep getting the 22nd when I calculate it online. Anyway I'm excited about next week and then end of jan beg of feb I should be getting an u/s...soo excited and nervous for this.

ashleigh- wow girl I still think your pregnant....it may just not be showing up yet. What brand did you use. Go buy a dollar store one. I swear by them all I've used are the dollar store and internet cheapies and I get great results with them..maybe u just implanted late and that is why the hormones are so low.

I peed on a stick again yesterday...Just for piece of mind and wow was it ever dark...almost the same color as the control line. I was 15DPO yesterday!

ashleigh - what kind of test did you use.  tori is completely correct! some women just don't get their bfp's till later.  the only other explanation for your af being late would be a corpus luteum cyst.  (they aren't bad and they are supposed to be very rare - apparently, i've had two in the past year).  i'm keeping my fingers crossed that your preggo.  the test you took might have had a higher sensitivity and/or you might have had implantation later, which makes your levels lower and harder to detect and/or you just might be one of those women who doesn't get a bfp when poas but is indeed preg.  good luck, i'm thinking of you.

tori- how exciting, a temp spike!  i hope this is it for you and that we all hear about, yet another, exciting bfp!

how are things going for all you other ladies.  ad_06 - did you test yet?  i, unfortunately, am out of town and away from dh now.  i'm just working my way up to creamy CM.  Maybe I'll get lucky and O later than CD13 but it's not too likely that I'll O before I see him next which is CD15.  But you never know!  Thanks for the advice ashort.  We bd'ed last night but I know it was too early.  Not enough CM!  Oh well, them' the breaks!

wannabamommy- I live in ON too!  I don't know how I missed that you lived there in your earlier posts.  Weird.  Anyways, congrats on your soon-to-be-first appointment.  Just tell your Dr. that you chart when you meet with him and he might adjust the due date a bit.  But those due dates mean nothing in the end.  I think only 4% of women give birth on or one day before/after their due date.  Most women give birth 2 weeks before/after.  One of my good friend's gave her Dh a 30th birthday party three weeks before she was due.  She was there hanging out and six hours later (with absolutely no signs earlier) she went into labour).  I was my best friend's labour coach and she was induced two weeks after her due date.  So you never know!  But that's so exciting to have your due date!  I can't wait till all you guys start getting your ultrasounds!

Ashliegh- I agree with wannabamommy! Go to the Dollar General and get the 1$ "Baby Test". I tested positive on that one at 10dpo! I sware you are pregnant. You probably just implanted late as was mentioned earlier. Seriously, I know a girl who tested positive on a Dollar Store test when her HCG was only 12.5. The tests claim to measure at 25, but I think they are more sensitive than that. Your symptoms sound awesome!! Dont give up... I have the fullest feeling that you will be getting your BFP in the next few days!!!

Wannabamommy- Yes I know. I didn't ask her personally when she did ultrasounds, but my neighbor went to her for OB and she said she didnt get one until she was 20 weeks. But I know if something was to go wrong, she would get me one. I have been looking at ultrasound pics on the internet and I cant wait to find out if my little embryo is a boy or girl! DF and I are also going to have a 4D ultrasound done when I get like 30 weeks. I can't wait!

wannabamommy, do you have really long cycles??..We o at the same time and I had AF on the 18th. My due date is coming up Sept.23 on the preg. calulator.

Yeah, 10wks for the first dr visit and 20wks u/s is gonna seem like forever.especially cause I miscarried in Nov. Nothing I can do about it though.My Dr's seem to have the "Mother Nature knows best" theory

I'm excited to hear about all of your appointments and u/s......Oh, and about due dates. I was induced a week after my due date it was April 30th. Eva was born May 7th..I wonder if your more likely to be late again if you were with your first??

Hey ladies...I have my 1st DR appointment on Jan 30th...I have had such a hard time trying to find a new dr, lol....my other 2 kiods were born in vegas at the sme hospital, not thatim in AZ, its kinda sad to ot be there......I was debating between a man and a woman dr...my other 2 were delivered by woman, but everyone else has refered me to men!!!  I finally decided on a woman and got the appointment all set up...i am glad that i will be in my 6th week by the time of my appointment, hopefully they will do an ultrasound to see a heartbeat!!!

Hope all you ladies are doing well...and I cant wait for the ladies who are gonna be O'ng soon to gt back in the TWW, this month is the month!!!!

I was just about to ask where ziggy was.  I haven't seen you in a while.  I am glad you are settled and how found a new doctor.  That is sooo exciting that you may be able to see the heartbeat.

chicky- yeah I do have long cycles my last one was 34 days....I started my period dec 8th but it lasted till dec 19th...I know 12 days. Like I said my periods have been weird lately. I had moderate spotting for the first 5 days...then a normal flow  for 4 and then back to dk red spotting for the last 3 days. So I don't know if the spotting should actually be counted as the start of my period. However It was enough to 3/4 fill a liner in 24 hrs most days of the spotting. I didn't ovulate till CD25 which was Jan 1st. So that is why I think the doctor thinks i'm so far along b/c of my period date. I wish he would go by ovulation. I'll mention it to him next week.

ziggy-glad you have your doc. I still don't have an ob/gyn yet. Just a primary...he is supposed to refer me to one. I kind of am thinking about a midwife thou. Has anyone had any experience with midwifes. I like their approach to prenatal and maternal care.

I'm in the Niagara Region but I work in Ottawa, Edmonton and Toronto from time to time.  It is a small world!  Good luck with you too! I imagine there are great hospitals, etc up that way.  Not like here in Niagara.

Sorry ladies I haven't been on since Tuesday.  Well I'm still taking hormone pills. I got more blood taken today I hope they will call me tomorrow and let me know that they are higher than before. A lot of people at work ask me how long I am. And I don't really know so I'm guessing a little over 4 weeks. And everyone is like OMG you found out you were pregnant that soon. So maybe that is why my hormones are low.

Itly- do you know what day you ovulated on? You can figure your estimated due date with a pregnancy calculator online. Also it will tell you about how far a long you are. The doctor says I'm in my 5th week but I'm coming up as 4 weeks 2days along and I O'd on the 1st. I have to get my blood drawn again tomorrow to make sure my Beta's are doubling so I hope to hear about my bloodwork soon. It's driving me crazy.

Well we had bd alot last month so haha. The days are: Dec. 20,25,26,29 & 31. So one of those days I ovulated on. Yeah they took blood from me on Monday to confirm that I was pregnant. Which I was then they called me back Tuesday and said my hormones were kinda low so they put me on prometrium I have to take it twice a day. And then I went back to today to get more blood taken. So I hope they call me tomorrow and let me know. If they don't I will have to call them. But my first prenatal appointment is Thursday the 24th. How early do they do an ultrasound?

wannabamommy-i just found this pregnancy due date calendar and it says we conceived on December 29th. And I'm about 4 5/7 weeks pregnant. mmm so I guess that's right. And my due date is September 20th : )

Okay so I'm having a weird situation....yesterday I had a lot of EWCM and it was CD9 so my temps on Tues. were 96.68, W- 97.26, and today 97.45.  I put in a fake temp for tomorrow and if it goes up or even stays the same it says I o'ed on CD8...How is that even possible???  My cycles are usually like 32 days.  If this is hte case not only did I miss o but I am going to have a 22 day cycle.  The craziest thing is that did happen to me last Jan....anybody have some advice?

Hey girls...Ive been running around all day...we had a cake tasting today and then I had to get a few things for DD bday party on saturday.

I used First Response Early Result. I have never used that kind before. I used Clear Blue Digital with my first pregnancy and the second I found out at the ER with a blood test. But I am going to get somethings for DD party at Dollar General tomorrow so I will pick up a few tests while Im there. I really hope I am prego, AF is never late, it always comes on 15dpo, sometimes she plays tricks on me and comes in the middle of the night on 15dpo. So I have my fingers crossed. DF swears Im pregnant, he said I don't need to waste money on a test because he already knows Im prego. He doesn't understand that I want the validation before I make an appt.

ashort - i saw your other post and commented there.  when i was learning to chart, my 'teacher/advisor/whatever you would call her' told me that ovulation can happen early, late and sometimes (rarely) twice a month. she said that the period after you ovulate, your luteal phase, is what rarely changes.  when i was first learning i was working a really stressful gig and had to take some sleeping pills due to anxiety. it screwed my whole chart up.  my temps were all over the place and i ovulated later than usual.  so i think your illness and the antibodies are impacting your temps.  Just keep on Bd'ing and good luck!!

Ltyn - keep us updated with your dr's appt. I'm thinking of you.

Ashleigh- I'm so glad you bought some dollar store goodies!  They're what I use.  You save a bundle and they are really sensitive.

Toris and ad_06- How are you ladies feeling?  These last few days of the tww are always the hardest!

well, i'm bored out of my skull on this gig.  I probably O tomorrow (creamy CM) and dh is all the way back home! Life sucks sometimes but there's always next month.

Hey girls...ad_06 sent me this message she is have technical difficulies: "I just wanted to let you girls know that it won't let me post anything in the forum! I can view everything, but can't post anything....My computer keep saying error on page in the left hand corner! It's making me mad. Well if you would like to update the girls for me, I tested and got a BFN too. But it still could be early cause according to the dr AF should be here between the 17th and the 23rd. My bbs are getting sore...so that is a plus :) !! Well I hope I can get this figured out....I'm getting lost not being able to post! I can't even change my mood!! Good Luck!!!!"

Everyone - Still no AF. I never thought I would be so excited to go to the Dollar Store! I hope this is it. They are going to look at me crazy cuz I will probably buy what they have left on the shelf. LOL!
