Losing Hope.....Please Help

I am now 8dp5dt and I took a first response early result this morning and it was negative. I am now starting to lose hope.  I have no symptoms. Anytime I have ever been pregnant, it has shown up on HPT. Maybe it was not meant to be. This is my last attempt for another baby. I cannot afford to try again. Definately bummed today!!!

Hi, first I wanted to wish everyone luck who are TTC. I am a mother of 3 gorgeous girls and are TTC. We wanted to try one more time for a boy. I have never tracked any of this before I just let the others just happen...so im new to all of this. I just heard of an implantation dip and I think that might be what happened to me yesterday. I am having some crapping as well. I was wondering if someone could take a look at my chart and tell me what you think. Thanks and good luck to everyone!!!

Great news about the job...can you find out about benefits ahead of time??  I know that would not be very nice but it would surely motivate you more.
My U/S went wonderful baby is growing as he/she should.  My next one is scheduled for tuesday before new year.

Thanks, I need the encouragement. I did get some good news today. I got a call from the VA medical center and they scheduled me an interview for an RN job.....You never know what can happen, I applied back in November and thought they were not going to call. They have better benefits and more vacation time a year. I am excited about that! Guess I will see what happens and I just accepted a baylor position at the job I am at....so I may be able to work both for a while. If its not too much.

Can't wait to hear the good news!!!!!

Rasha769: Thanks for the encouragement!!!! Has anyone had a positive beta after negative HPTs? Maybe I am just expecting too much too early. Who knows.....

My head aches, my back aches, I am exhausted, and I just feel like plain old **** right now. I don't know if its from the progesterone shots or what. I have resolved to just getting my beta drawn and let the nurse deliver good or bad news. I have just been so exhausted the last couple of days and I just can't seem to snap out of it. I got off work this morning and felt like I could just crawl in the bed. Last night was my first night back in a week.
Kricket: I am sooo happy for you! Having insurance definately helps.....Mine won't cover it because I elected to have my tubes tied. But, I am sure you will get lucky the 2nd time round!!! This has definately been an experience like no other. My RE laughed at me when I told him that this was the 1st time in my life that I was actually excited to come in for gynecological exams. Usually I put them off till the last possible moment. Have they scheduled your 1st U/S yet?

Keep the faith........ya just never know what can happen.
We are fortunate enough to have medical insurance. This will be our first baby. I am 37 & hubby will be 40 in Jan.  We are hoping to have two children so we will do another round after this.  I hope to be as lucky again.
My first U/s is this wednesday.

Please know that it can take a maximum of 12 days for teh embryo to implant, from the day the transfer occured. You had a day 5 embryo, that is a great sign that it is strong and viable. Maybe your embie did not implant yet. That little rocket may still be looking for a comfortable place to settle in. Don't get crazy with the HPT , it can be an obsession. I think if you have to, test once in the morning everyday with teh cheap dollar tree one, they are all the same in my opinion. I even would say just test once two days before your beta, that should be your indication. Even a faint line will be your sign of a pregnancy.
Good luck dear

My beta is scheduled for 12/28 due to Christmas. My 12dpet will be on Christmas Day. I keep telling myself not to give up....all my other pregnancies were conceived without assistance and this is my first IVF cycle so it may be a little different. My transfer was on Dec.13th. I am sooo tired of seeing BFN! My husband is trying to stay positive for me. I just know this was my last chance. Hubbie is going to be 39 Jan 3rd and he does not want to try past 40. I am 29 and will be 30 Feb. 20. The other issue is the cost. I don't have any embies frozen. I did minimal IVF and 7 eggs were retrieved, 4 mature and 3 fertilized on their own. 2, 5 day blasts were transferred and 3rd did not make it. But, I guess it's not over till the fat lady sings or the nurse calls to give me negative beta results. Trying to keep my chin up.
Sooooo, how have you been doing? I need some good news right now.....When is your U/S? How have your betas been doing?
