Is once a day enough for OPK? Is FMU okay?

Hi just reading my pamphlet and it says test from 10am - 8pm which is not FMU. I've been testing like 7am or 8am all week. Does that matter? Thanks.

My RE told me to test twice a day so you dont miss it! I also prefer the digital OPK's....I hated trying to guess if the lines were dark enough..I prefer to see the smiley face when its positive...its more expensive but easier! Good Luck!

All good with the meds. Going to BD tonight. Hopefully without sneezing and runny nose to kill the mood. I'll join you on the 2ww tomorrow. Thanks :)

See you are still in the game.  Did you get any BDing done yesterday, just in case?

Luckily, and thanks to the advice of the gals here on medhelp, i told dh to come home to BD last night.  My BBT went up this morning so I know that I O'd last night some time.

I guess its hard to tell with a temp that wasnt taken first thing in the morning - especially if you are sick and could be running a little bit of a fever or have no other temps to compare it to.  Did you hear back from the doc about the antibiotics?

Lemme know how your next test goes.

At the doc I was 98.7

So I've been testing every day and I have one line lighter than the other. Until this am when it it's getting closer in color. I'll go test in a bit and then I buy another pack. What a moron. No wonder I need a Dr. to get me knocked up. I usually go CD14-CD16 so it's not that much of a screw up.

Hi there.

In the past i have had a hard time getting a positive test, so I decided that this month I would test more than once a day.   I did MULTIPLE tests yesterday (CD13) and am so glad I did.  I had a neg in the morning (10ish), and at lunch it was WAY darker.  At dinner it was positive and in the evening (7ish) it had faded completely.  Had I checked at some time other than dinner time I would have not got a +OPK.

I have been using inexpensive tests I bought off the internet, so doing multiple tests is no big deal.

You think you missed your surge?  Can you do another test now?  Have you been temping?  Did your temp go up this morning?

Hi there,
I have read FMU is not suitable for the OPK. Can't remember why, but what your pamphlet says is correct 101m-8pm no FMU and test at the same time every day.

Good luck!
