anyone starting IVF Sept/Oct

I'm starting the birth control pills early September at start of next cycle, then it's IVF time! SCARY!!! Is anyone starting IVF around this time and wants to share I'd love to have a buddy. This is IVF #1 for us, TTC for 4 years.

I went through Freedom Pharmacy for my meds. Pretty cheap and works with whatever insurance you may have 800-660-4283. They are national and can get meds to you overnight. Have baseline u/s tomorrow and start Lupron shots on Saturday. Nervous, but so excited. 3 month anniversary of my baby girl leaving me today, please say a prayer.

Small world, same meds. Maybe that is good carma!!!
Not sure what the cheapest pharmacy is. I live in Cleveland, and there is a pharmacy here that my doctors deal with.  It is local, so it saves some time. Doubt they are the cheapest.
Keep me posted on your schedule. We are pretty much on the same schedule

Janice - me too - same meds - never done them b4 - so i am terrified! have to get them ordered and trying to price shop a bit - anyone know the cheapest pharmacy online?

Butterflybabies - tell me how the shots go. Seems my doctor will follow the same protocol..2 in the am, 2 in the pm.  You'll have to tell me how high your dosage will be..and what meds. I'll be on Follistem and Menopur. How about you?

Hi, I just finished my bcp on the 28th..have my u/s and blood work tomorrow and if all is well will start my shots tomorrow to...my retrival is planned for Oct 13th maybe earlier depending on how I respond to the meds..This is my 2nd IVF try although I had to cancel my 1st as I didnt have enough follies! Im on a new protocol so hopefully this will help..I to will be on 2 shots in the am and 2 in the pm.

Hi, I am in this cycle. Started BCP on Sept 4th and ended on Sept 24th. Also I am taking Lupron shots from 19th Sept.  Today had gone for u/s and blood work to see if I am suppressed. Waiting for the call from doctors office and then will go from there.

Hi, I can be your buddy. I'm currently on birth control, and I go Oct 16 for my baseline bloodwork. I'll start my injections on the 17th. This is my second round of IVF, the first one was not successful. I'll be taking 4 injections a day, two in the morning, and two at night. Hopefully this will be lucky for both of us.
I'm soo sorry to hear about your daughter.  If there is anything I can do, let's chat.
This site has been very helpful to me, there is alot of good support out there.

I just started BC pills too for IVF. I am on my last week and will have my ultrasound on Oct 3 and start Lupron shots on Oct 4. It is very exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. We are set to have embryo transfer on OCt 30, maybe a few days early depending on my cycle. When are you scheduled?? Are you also doing PGD? We had a daughter and she passed away 3 months ago, and we wanted to have definites of when we would be pregnant so we decided on IVF instead of trying naturally b/c the emptiness is too great without her here. Let me know how it goes for you.
