Metformin during first trimester

Ok ladies, i finished on Wednesday Clomit and started yesterday 3 days of injectables. By monday i hope to be ready for the trigger shot. This time i'm taking baby aspirin and 1500mg of metformin. By Re says to take the metformin for the whole first semester if a get preggo.  With my last pregnancy i take it  and m/c anywway so this time i don't want to take it. Less meds the best. Has anyone taken metformin during the first semester and it's not harfull to the baby? Metformin is category B

I know someone that stayed on it through her whole pregnancy...I don't know much about it. Just  that my doctor said that it decreases your chance of m/c.. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
