NEGATIVE AFTER 13 days

This is my first IVF experience, we used frozen sperm - my husband had testicular cancer about 2 yrs ago, and we had 2 children before he got sick.  Now he has been cancer free and we decided to try for a third, expecting to do insemination, but with limited samples the dr suggested IVF, which we decided was the best idea

Since I was able to get pregnant on my own 2 times, i guess i was hoping we would be at an advantage, which maybe we still are - but i got a bit discouraged today and now i am really nervous

I have my 5 day transfer last wednesday, so today is the 13th day, and I go for blood work tomorrow -

I know it is common to have done the urine tests early on and show up negative, but i figured one day before the blood test it may show up, but its still negative - and i have cramps too just today , and now i am so worried i am getting my period,
but maybe that is normal?

does anyone have any opinions or thoughts to share?

i have my fingers crossed and all my prayers said for tomorrow !!!!

thank u all for all ur kind words and support!  unfortunately, I received negative results!  obviously, we are devastated, and sad, but i am fortunate to have 2 beautiful girls and we are lucky and blessed !  i have a follow up appointment and have to see what the next step may be - we do have frozen embryos, and would love to try again, i kind of have to take a look at the financial, since we have yet to be billed for the fresh cycle, we have some coverage, but want to see where we stand before we make a decision!   xxxxooo

Hi Honey,

Regardless what your results are you must go on.  If one door is locked you go the next one. If that door is closed, you must learn to slide across the crack of the sill.

Be willing to open any doors ahead of you,  You will be surprised of what you felt you could not handle...

i just wonder if i should take this as a negative, or has anyone had all negative until the bloodtest , tomorrow at work, will be the longest wait for that phone call.........

did u use a 5 day early test or regular test  some test need more time
