Newbie. Just wanted to say hello:)
Hi Everyone. I'm 30 years old. Been trying to conceive for 4 years. In about a month we will embark on IVF attempt # 2. First attempt failed. We are at a different clinic and very hopeful. Fingers and Toes Crossed. I've been reading all your posts. Sometimes it's comforting to know others are going through the same struggles as you. Infertility can be a long, hard, and frustrating road. Support groups like this can make all the difference. So HELLO ALL!!!

Sorry to hear about your first cycle but good to know you seem to be in a positive frame of mind.. I originally started off with bcp and Lupron but ended up having alleric reaction to both. As I might of mention I started stimming 4 days ago. I went for bloodwork and u/s this morning and was told my left o/ is quite and my right has a 13 13 11 10 I really don't know what to think of that so I'm trying not to read into it until the nurse calls me late this afternoon with B/w results. Anywho I have heard lots of success using Lupron ( that's what you will be using? As I mention my body will not accept that so I will be using ganirelix and repronex. Keep me posted. I would live to know you gave success the 2nd time around.

I haven't started stimming yet. Our first cycle was a bit of a disaster back in December. I responded much too quickly to the stimulation meds and I had about 24 follicles per ovary. I subsiquently went into hyperstimulation, and the cycle was a failure. 2 of the almost 50 eggs made it to the retrival date and they were not successfully fertilized. Its a VERY rare case, so don't let is scare you. I was mismanaged, mishandled and the cycle should have been cancelled long before we got to our unsuccessful retrival. Needless to say, we are at a new clinic and VERY excited about the prospects. Currently I am on birth control pills for 28 days. Just started them on Sunday. On day 14 I will start lupron (to supress ovarian response) and my stimming will be early October with an expected retrival about the second week in October. When do you expect your retrival. Do you have some good follicles yet, or are you at that monitoring stage yet??
