I just need a little help understanding my dr i was given clomid 100mg on day 9 of my cycle for 5 days then told on day 12 to give myself gonal-f shot for 4 days then come in on day 17 to see when we will do iui. its been my understanding that clomid and gonal-f shots should be taken at the beginning of your cycle. Is what my dr doing seem right or do the chances of conceiving seem slim? please someone help

I was always rx'd Clomid on cd2-6. Cd5-9 is pretty popular, too. I have heard of women taking it 2x a cycle, too. But, I haven't heard of starting it on cd9. There must be a reason the dr wants to do it that way, though. Did you ask?
