OPK strips...junk or not?

So I bought these OPK strips off of a website and all I get so far is faint test lines, nothing very dark.  Are these strips junk, or has someone actually had them work?  It might be I am not ovulationg yet, which according to FF I have not based on my BBT.  Anyone have any thoughts?  I am just starting to regulate after coming off BCP and I would like to know if I am ovulating at all or not.  I thought the test strips would be a good way to tell.

Thanks for the advice.  I do know that BCP can delay the O.  I'm hoping I am just going to O later then predicted.  I just keep taking my BBT and POAS to test for O.  It's all I can do, well that, and LOTS of BD.

Congratulations on your LO!
I guess I'll just keep using the strips until I see the line get darker.
I would hate to spend more money when I already paid for these.  I might just be Oing later than I thought.  Have to wait and see.

Thanks.  I am hoping that it's just me.  I may not have O'd yet which I could understand since I have never charted my O before.  Those digital HPTs can be pretty heart wrenching.  I would be good with a smiley face versus a "NOT PREGNANT".

I've bought many different brands off the internet. All of the ones I bought worked fine. I got some from baby hopes, save on tests and ebay.

I use the FR 20pk tube most of the time now. It does say only good for one cycle. But, I have used them up to 3 cycles and they worked fine.  The bcps may delay o for a while.  GL

I used the ones with the lines and to be honest I couldn't distinguish between the colours but I am colourblind!!

I use the digital ones with the smiley face... it cuts out the guess work, You either are or your not! (...not so great for the digital HPT ones though as the words 'you are NOT pregnant' are so cutting!!!)

I do know some people have great success with the OPK ones you are talking about... good luck!

I used the one from CVS (first responce I think), and they were dark - there are about 30 in the pack, and they tell you not to use them next month. But this stuff is so expensive that I was using them only around when I though I will ovulate and kept remaining for next months. When they got a little older the lines became more faint. But it still worked.
I am almost 9 months pregnant.
Also the lines get darker if you wait longer.
