Period after Failed-IVF

So I had a complete IVF cycle, retrieval, transfer 2 embies, and got a negative BETA 8/5. I was told to stop my progesterone and Id get a period on 3-5 days. Well I started spotting the 5th, and got my period the 8th. My periods have always been regular, down to the hour sometimes I swear!! I thought I felt it "brewing" as I call it on Sunday 9/5 but nothing. I still havent gotten it yet. I have had some feeling like she is coming but nothing like I usually feel. I assume the IVF can mess you up and I just got my period last month cause I stopped the meds. Anyone else have  alate period after IVF????

  IVF sure does screw things up a little..it took me a while to start my period after my last failed IVF cycle...waiting for that is stressful..exspecially after being so upset when things dont work as wanted to! Take care and good luck

I am going through IVF now so have no clue about late period.

what was the value of your first beta? if it is more than 5 and under 20 it is chemical isnt it? sorry that it dint work for u. where did u get it done in MA?

i'm sorry about the bfn.  yes, all all my 3 failed ivf cycles have screwed up my period.  it is b/c of the meds/hormones that were taking.
be patient it'll come and good luck on your next ivf cycle. :)
