Actually, sometimes it can help.  I had gastric bypass three years ago and the doctor made it vary clear that during the "healing and adjusting time" (8 months), we were to use two forms of birth control because when a large woman begins to loose weight, they become very fertile.  This is because fat stores hormones, and as you loose the weight, the fat "melts", thus releasing the hormones.  The only problem is if you get pregnant before you are done loosing weight, you are going to have to stop your diet plan.  I am not going to give you my opinion on your choice of diet, that is your decision, but depending on what your starting weight is, make sure you have a doctor's opinion.  This doesn't sound like a diet plan you can do long term, nor one that will give you lasting results.  You have to remember when you get pregnant, you have to eat so many calories, and if you have been in the mindset of "loosing weight" then switch to "baby growth" you are more than likely going to revert back to old habits, and probably gain all the weight plus some back very quickly.

Yes that is not a good intake at all!!!!!! All you need to do to loose weight is be honest with yourself how many calories you take in now them drop that. It should be around 1,000 to 1,200 per day. You have to burn more then that everyday! As long as you burn more then take in you will loose. Then when you hit a platea you got up in intake by 200 cal for just two weeks but still do the same exercise and burning. Then you drop back down shocking your metabolism again. That is a healthy way to loose weight! If you loose to fast you will gain it back plus more!!!!!!!!! You will not be able to keep it off in the long run!
