Pregnancy after an ectopic pregnancy and tube removal

I had an ectopic pregnancy recently and I had to have my right tube removed. I was told by my ob that my other tube is perfectly fine and healthy and their should be no reason why we can't try again. My question is has anyone gotten pregnant after, how long did it take to get pregnant and also how do I calculate when tc this is my second month of having a normal period.

Thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
You still have one tube patent so there are chances that you can conceive. A detailed evaluation is necessary for confirming the exact cause of your symptoms. You have started menstruating so it indicates ovulation has been initiated. I will suggest you to wait for few months before planning to conceive again. You need to give your body and mind time to recover. This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. Consult a doctor for more queries and assistance.
Best luck and take care!
