Progesterone doses

I was just wandering for those of you on PIO shots, how much you use and how many times a day?   My schedule is so off this week, due to work and the holidays that i was thinking i needed my levels checked tomorrow, but it was actually today..and now i won't get the results back until friday : (      Anyhow, they have me on 1/2cc each night.. but from what i've been reading around here looks like most people take 1cc.. i don't want to be underdosed and would rather increase it to be safe if my dose seems a little low!  Thanks so much! hope everyone has a great new years celebration with a Great New Year in the future! : )

I agree with Helen. Since yours was IUI, 1/2 cc is more than enough. When I got pregnant with IUI my doc never put me on progesterone supplement. Only for IVF they put you on 1cc. Good luck!

After ivf I was doing 1cc peer day which is pretty standard after ivf.   If your RE told you to do 1/2 cc I would stick with that.  With ivf your corpus luteum does not exist and you produce zero progesterone on your own because you never actually O.  Since you did IUI and ovulated with 5 follies you have probably plenty of progesterone to begin with.  You just need some extra support.
Good luck!!!
