hello, i'm SO SO sorry to hear what she has been through, i cant' even imagine what that must be like.. i have not been through similar, however, i hope this might help! were they concerned about cervical incompetence at all? most of the mc's caused by this can happen around the 20 week mark.. typically if that is a concern then they can put a cerclage (big stich) into her cervix and that can typically help.. that plus very close monitoring.. she would just need to go to a high risk OBGYN and they would monitor her cervical length around the critical times that she seems to loose pregnancies.. also has she been checked for genetic disorders - such as clotting etc? some clotting disorders can cause later term losses, and all thats needed to correct them is being put on an asprin or blood thinners..... as far as the septum causing this, if it has been removed and she is able to get pregnant and stay pregnant that long, i would doubt its related, but i'm not sure ( i would think if its an issue with scar tissue the embryo couldn't implant on the area surgery was performed, howeveri wouln'dt think it would cause problems later than that) I would see a fertility dr + a high risk OBGYN once she is pregnant again.. again i'm sooo soo sorry for your losses!
She did not have a cervical problem nor did she lose the mucus problem and they had Genetic testing after the 2nd baby was lost......she was with the "High Risk Center" in the Ottawa General Hospital with specilized medical staff. Someone recently told her that another woman had a similar problem and it was found that this women was lacking some vitamen or mineral in her system (do not know what it is)........and after she took the replacement for a year had 3 successful pregnancies......we are collected as much data as we can.....so we can be armed when and if it decided to contact a "clinic" dealing with these kinds of losses.....thank you for answering this even though you could not add much......I am grateful that you took the time to care............thank you again
Well sounds like yall are doing everything yall can! Was it folic acid that that person was missing? I have a genetic disorder (they tested me not my previous lost pregnancies-total of 4 but earlier than your daughters) and it showed i have two copies of a gene that causes my body to be low in folic acid, therefore i'm going to be on thinners and am now taking lots of folic acid.. i would think she has been tested for this already, but if not, thats definitely something to test for....Good luck, sounds like your in good hands! your family will be in my prayers!
I was hoping to find some answers here but I guess not......too bad there were not some professionals in this forum.....maybe they could give some answers......
