success TTC after lap with endometriosis and PCOS

Anyone out there have BOTH pcos AND endometriosis?  As I stated in my last post, I just had a lap done last week to remove endometrial tissue, and I'm wondering if anyone out there has both of these problems and had success TTC after a lap?  We've been trying on and off for over a year and a half, and I already did 5 unsuccessful rounds of clomid.  The clomid made me ovulate (they increased it almost every time so I was upto 250 mg by the end) but I never conceived.  Wondering what my chances are now without resorting to expensive fertility treatments that aren't covered by our insurance.

ALT76, thats great news! sorry about the loss, but thats great that it did work!!!!   I hope that this cycle gives you a very sticky BFP so you dont' have to use the grant for IVF!: )     i did my first round of injectables follistim +femara.. and since I only have one ovary i got 3 follies on it ( i was using super low dose follistim, due to the pcos and age afraid of OHSS, but that wasn't a problem!!) but i got three follies and two of those ruptured..but with all of our issues i'm sure we'll be heading to IVF... which i'm prepared for i think! yikes!  anyhow good luck this cycle and I hope that it brings you a sticky BFP keep me updated! : ) what meds are you on??

Wow!  Where did you ladies dig up this post of mine from? :o)  I signed on and there was my little dog Bijou at the top of the forum posts!

It's been nearly five months, but it's funny cuz I'm just getting started tonight on my second round of injectables.  I can report that the first round (not this past cycle but the one before that March-April) was actually partially successful!  It was our first attempt since my surgery (first IUI and first injectables cycle too), and it ended in a chemical.  I see it as major progress though.  Pregnant for 3 days for the first time ever is definitely a step in the right direction!  We're doing another IUI this cycle, but we just applied for their grant so that if we have to convert to IVF mid cycle if there's too many follicles we can.  I hope we're all on that BFP list soon.... and I hope that if I am I can stay there for more than 3 days this time!

Hello girls! Unfortunately I can relate as well! i have severe endo and mild pcos with one ovary left (stupid endo destroyed the other ovary and had most of that one removed now it doens't work) and we have male factor! this is our 3rd IUI with femara, but addeded injectables.. and have submitted all of our paperwork for IVF... My RE says that a lot of women with these problems combined concieve, but that its defitnely not a straight forward case! I've heard lots of success stories here and on other websites! so its possible! we are only going to do 3 IVF's and then if it doens't happen we'll adopt. I agree I"m just kind of numb to all of this now! it beats ya down after a while! but just gotta remember it DOES Happen and can happen!!! but we just need a little more help!

ALICE- are you doing lupron suppression for several months before IVF? we are trying to figure out what to do about that!  My lap was 4 months ago, and most of it is on my bowel and bladder, so they couldn't get rid of it : (     went straight to fertility treatments the last three months... we are debating to do lupron for 3 months before IVF or not? any advice?? thanks and GOOD LUCK  to both of you! : )

I have both and it sucks!  I have tried for 3 years, 6 rounds of clomid throughout, lap surgery, and metformin.  I'll start IVF this summer the REA doctor seems this is the best way for possible outcome.  Have you succeeded yet?  I am losing hope and patience quick!  I need support!
