Spotting and no flow

Since the birth of my son 5 years ago my periods have been very regular, a day of spotting then normal flow for 3 days. For a few month's now i have been experiencing very bad light headed spells what i consider hot flashes  ( i suddenly get really hot for no reason and feel miserable and sweaty and want to rip off my clothes), that seem to occur with my pending period as well as my period seem's to be just disappearing with time. In January it was a day of spotting then light flow and then spotting again. This month I'am down to not even needing to use tampons because I just spot. dr's did blood work with the last severe light headed spell, no pregnancy, no iron or glucose problems all they found was a hormone level to do with my period was low but not low enough to cause them they say.I just told my mother about this and she say's early para-menopause runs in my family as my grandma was 38 as well as my mom, but iam only 29! Is this even possible or is there something else that could cause this?

I have been seeing an acupuncturist for hormonal imbalance and taking Traditional Chinese Medicine to regulate my cycle again. I have seen changes already after one cycle.

A hormonal imbalance can cause this! I would definitely ask your doctor about it!
