Taking clomiphene citrate and EFO

I'm going to start clomiphene citrate treament on my next period, but I have heard that it dries up cervical mucus. What I want to know is how long has anyone taken to conceive after starting this drug? Has anyone taken it with evening primrose oil?Has anyone had any side effects when taking both?

To be honest i have never found CM a problem on Clomid, I took it for 1 cycle last year and prego 1st time then 1 cycle last month but BFN weve decided to have a break because of the side affects, I would defo advise to take it at night before you go to bed that way you sleep through most of the side affects..

I have taken clomid and EPO together. It did seem to help increase CM. The first month I was not taking enough EPO and it didn't really make a difference. The next month I checked the dose and figured out I needed to take more than 1 pill a day to get the recommended dose. Once I increased the amount I was taking each day it did make a difference. I didn't have any side effects of taking both together. Good luck!
