To Alpha Gamma Prego and ALL trying to conceivers about the power of prayer.

I know that we all come from different faiths and believes, but most all faiths believe in one thing and that is the power of prayer.  Science has even proven it's benefits.  I was thinking that we should start something of a prayer chain, and schedule a time when each of us takes a few minutes to pray for one another at the same time every day.  We can post certain prayer requests for example, if you're having an IUI in the morning, or an IVF transfer, or simply trying to time your bd during o, whatever, and then we will all pray for the request at the same time.   Maybe we should set aside 9 am and/or 9pm Pacific Standard Time each day for a few minutes to pray for one another.  I can post a table of time zones if you are interested.  Anyhow, let me know what you all think of this idea and if we all agree, or like the idea, then let the prayers begin!

hi girls.

i had my ultrasound and thye cant detect any sign of PCOS, fibroids or endometriosis. Everything looks fine. So my only issue so far they can see from a radiographer sense is my blocked left tube. The good news is today is CD14, they can see the dominant follicle in my right ovary (my good side). I havent Oed yet so best i get busy! I see my doctor on Tues and get to know my options i guess.

Annabrita - i must agree with the rest of the girls - thats much too expensive for IUI. You should check around. I hope youre feeling better.

HeathJo & Lisa - i am still holding out for your posts!

Annabritta, I agree w/ Helen. $1800 is ridiculous for an IUI! Mine are $200 apiece. But, to answer your question, if it were me I would go straight to IVF for the same reasons you stated.

Helen: Good luck with your appt. tomorrow! :-)

Annabritta: Sorry about AF :-(. The wine and heating pad sounds like a good plan.

Mary & LJ: I had a dream two nights ago, very similar to one I had about 5 weeks ago,. about being with my son, who was around 2 years old this time, and last dream was about 4 years old. I have the pg instinct with dreams only with my older sister. I have known each time she was pregnant through dreams weeks before she even knew, and the ones that came to term I was right about the gender from day one (or before). She terminated 2 pregnancies and did not tell me until months afterward, AND I was studying abroad for one of those, and I was continually dreaming about her having a boy. I guess we will never know. The other one I dreamed about but could not get a gender. She miscarried a couple of years ago, just before getting pregnant with my nephew, and I felt as if that was a girl. Again, we will never know.

I hope these dreams I've recently had of this little boy is really of my future son. They are so intense, and real, and the love I feel for this child seems as if was always there. In the first dream, where he was around 4, he told me he chose me to be his Mommy before he was born. The most recent one I was just playing with him on my lap, but the bond was again so natural and as if it had always been there. As my Dad always says: "All will be revealed. . ." I sure hope so, and soon! For ALL OF US!

ALL: Yes, it would be completely a shock if I got a BFP, because I took an HPT already this month but it was way early, like 9/10dpo. I had gotten sick to my stomach and just took it to rule it out. I have had symptoms that seem to point more to AF coming, but they come and go: sore bbs, some cramping, headache. Tomorrow will be cd34,18dpo. I really am concerned that I am just late b/c my cycles have been so irregular before the Clomid, and because I took this month off Clomid my body is back to being confused. On Clomid my cycles were 30 days exactly. Thus, I just think I will have to take Provera to get AF. BUMMER! But, I will POAS in the am, and then call the doctor and see what she says. I will post as soon as I know something. Thanks for all the optimism :-) However, I just don't think this is it.

$1800 per IUI????  That's insaine!  Lisa pays less for IUI with ds.  We pay $250 out of pocket since our insurance does not cover it.  I know that CA is more expensive but $1800 is truly excessive.  Are you sure you heard that number right?  Does 1800 include some sort of u/s visits prior to IUI?  Will your insurance cover the cost of IUI?  What about IVF?  I hope that it does cause I am afraid to hear what your provider charges for IVF.

babyalive,i agree with you 150%.we need a BFP amongst ourselves this month.yes it's gonna happen,i'm so opstimistic about this.
empty, what did they say was the cause of your blocked left tube?(i wonder why it's always the left).they told me mine was as a result of previous infection and as such the right might also be infected though patent.the re said on my last apt that she was gonna try iui x3 then move on to ivf.my thing is if she knows the right tube is diseased as well, why not just do the ivf at once.dh sperm analysis is fine,so the problem has to be mine.it's not like the iui is free.she charges1800 per iui.i have an apt with her tomorow,so i'm going to ask her if we can just do ivf at once.any suggestion??????
mary, did you happen to BD this cycle?you might as well be preg.why not do a hpt just for the benefit of doubt

Annabrita - Sorry about AF.  She's just such a nuasense!
Mary - You're somewhat of a fortune teller!   I do beleive we can get a kind of 6th sense about pregancy.  When I was younger I always knew when my friends or family were pregnant before they ever told anyone.  I can even tell sometimes with celebreties, long before they announce it.  It's even happened on this forum, I'll just get a certain feeling about someone and low and behold they'll post a BFP not long after.  So, I do think we are all connected in an unspoken way and we can get a sense of new life developing.

Empty - You are soooo sweeeeet!!   I'm doing my best to stay positive.  I'm a bit bi-polar about it.  One moment, I just full of hope and optimism, the next I think I've got my head in the sand and I'm in deep denial of reality.

Would't that be something if Heathjo had the BFP this month!  Well, like I said earlier - odds are, one of us will get it this cycle - ok, will the real BFP please stand up.  (-:

mary - i have no clue what is going on with you. Can  you insist they see you?  I have become more demanding since i have started ttcing. Its just sometimes who asks the most times gets help!

heathjo - OMG how funny will it be if you get your BFP based on one BD session.

annabrita - i am fine. i have am ultrasound today. My HSG showed blocked left fallopian tube so i am a little bit nervous but happy to know what my issue is. I see my doctor on Tues.

Lisa - you know i have been sending positive thoughts your way. Only good things will happen ...stay positive.
