To Alpha Gamma Prego and ALL trying to conceivers about the power of prayer.

I know that we all come from different faiths and believes, but most all faiths believe in one thing and that is the power of prayer.  Science has even proven it's benefits.  I was thinking that we should start something of a prayer chain, and schedule a time when each of us takes a few minutes to pray for one another at the same time every day.  We can post certain prayer requests for example, if you're having an IUI in the morning, or an IVF transfer, or simply trying to time your bd during o, whatever, and then we will all pray for the request at the same time.   Maybe we should set aside 9 am and/or 9pm Pacific Standard Time each day for a few minutes to pray for one another.  I can post a table of time zones if you are interested.  Anyhow, let me know what you all think of this idea and if we all agree, or like the idea, then let the prayers begin!

Great!  I'll post a time table of time zones when I get home tonight.  (I'm working now).    I know I feel bad for Empty also.  But, I tried to pick two different times to fit as many schedules as possible.  I'll post the time table tonight and we can start the chain tomorrow, or tonight I guess!

OK. There are SO many time zones, that to post all of them would be impossible.  So, I 'm posting this website and you can click on your country and location and it'll tell you what time it is relative to other places.

Also, of course if we can't all pray at the exact same time, doesn't mean our prayers don't count!  It's terrific when we can pray at the same time, but what's most important is that we pray, meditate, whatever your faith dictates.

I'm starting tonight!  Since I live in the Pacific Standard Time Zone (US), we are earlier than most parts of the country lets set prayer times for:
7am
Noon
7pm

At any and/or all of these 3 times I'll set aside a few moments to pray for those ttc on this forum.  I'll make specific prayers for anyone who posts they are having a specific immediate need.  

I know most of us are aware that Brown Eyed Gurl is having triplets!  I would defintely say she has an immediate need for the safety of her and her babies.  
I'll say a prayer for all of the Alpha Gamma Preggo group to get BFP's ASAP.  

I'm currently in 2ww, nothing I can do at this point for this cycle, so no immediate prayer request from me.

Ashort you should pray 11am - 4pm - 11pm (I list all three times not because I think you need to pray all three times, but because it gives you more options).   You should be 4 hrs later than me.  Dbl check at this link though to be sure:

Hi Sam75 - Yes defintely join us.   Maybe to make this whole thing easier just pray at either 7am, noon, 7pm your time zone.  That should simplify things.   Welcome!!!  Or check the link on the post above.

Babyalive-  I checked the link...and I can't figure it out haha...this shouldn't be hard for a 3rd grade teacher to figure out...LOL...so what time is it right now where you are?  It's 9:52 here.  My exboyfriend used to live in Tempe, AZ and I know that sometimes he was 4 hours time difference and sometimes he was 3 hours depending on the time of the year...at least I think that's how that worked...haha

Yep,  NY is 3 hrs ahead, not 4 like I mentioned earlier.  During Day Light Savings Time not all states participate so that's why AZ's time is different depending on the time of year.

I think we just need to simplify this and say YOUR time zone either 7am - noon - 7pm.  That way we aren't going crazy trying to decipher the times.  I didn't realize what a can of worm I opened in trying to synchrinize our times! (-:

Fantastic idea. Prayer does work I know we get frustrated everytime AF shows up but don't give up praying. I have been TTC for 5 years now and I refuse to give up even though I am 40 with fibroids and a blocked tube etc.. So Lord knows I need all the prayers I can get. I agree that we should all pray at the same time in our own time zone so I will be praying 7:00am for all of us (-:
