Progesterone suppositiries

Has anyone had side effects from progesterone? Sorry for tmi but I am constipated and have never had this before. I have had it for a few days and am now 8dp a 3 day transfer. Any safe remedies??? Thanks.

I used progesterone vaginally last month and I was really constipated. Sorry TMI.  I was also very very tired, sleepy all the time.  Then at 9dpo the RE did a blood test and it was negative so he told me to stop taking them.  I got my period in 2 days and everything went back to normal.   Hope this helps and Good Luck!! :)

yes i wont use laxatives . Thanks for your answer. I have read it can be a pregnancy sympton caused by the hormone progesterone so its likely it is the progesterone causing it!!

i have been using it vaginally in my 1st iui...this month i am trying it orally...yes i had s/e like bloating,giddiness but never had constipation...since you are ttc do avoid any kind of laxatives...a safer way is to have lots of fluid and fibre in your diet....
