Clomid, Estrogen, Progesterone

Hi all!

When taking Clomid, should you also be taking estrogen and progesterone?  Why do some take all three and some not?  How do you know if you should be taking all three? If I ovulate regularly and blood work has come back normal, could progesterone or estrogen alone help me conceive? I spot, so I thought progesterone was my issue, but those levels come back good.

Estrogen is for the lining, correct? And Progesterone is for helping implantation along? Can progesterone also be used to make sure your lining does not shed prematurely? And are the names for those estrace and prometrium?

Lots of Qs-sorry! Thanks so much for any help!!!

Lauren
