4 days of positive OPK's

This is our third month of TTC. I am on CD 17 and got my fourth day in a row of VERY positive OPK's. My first positive was last thursday which is normal because according to my chart I am suppose to ovulate on Friday. I had very painful ovulation cramps on thursday like i normally do, so i think that i ovulated thursday night or friday, but seeing as I now have 4 days in a row of +OPK's i'm not so sure anymore.  How do I know if i ovulated, since i don't take my temp, is there a way to know? My cycle is 28 days long and my ovulation symptoms (cramping on one side and EWCM) are gone.
I should mention that in the past I only get 1 day of +OPK, and then it goes away before the day is out.

Thanks, I know I don't know why it is so complicated or maybe i am just making it that way. I don't remember having this much confusion when TTC our son (he's 2 1/2 now). I guess I was just trying to get an educated guess as to when AF was coming because I am starting clomid this next cycle.

@mjmom69- I have heard that too, that could be the case I don't know anymore. We BD'd anyway just in case. I finally got a neg. OPK on day 5, but it was barely a negative. I had some extra strips from my pack of 20 that I needed to waste, seeing as how they are only good for 30 days.

I've had the same thing.  I had 3 in a row and stopped checking after they started getting lighter, THEN about 8 days later (thought I should be 8 dpo) I started getting O cramps and all that egg white cervical mucus again, I checked just to be sure and sure enough I was getting super positives for 4 days in a row this time.  I wound up starting though, unfortunately.  I wound up with a really long cycle, I think it was around 43 days when my cycle is usually 31-33 days.  I'm not positive but I think the only way to know for sure is to go have a blood test done on cycle day 21.  They'll check to see what your progesterone level is and they'll know for sure this way!   Sorry this is sooo confusing..I HATE that it has to be confusing and complicated.  I can't count the times I've wished it could be simple and easy :(.  Best of luck to you hun!!

I have always been told that if you are still getting the + then you may not have ovulated yet and your body is still trying. I'm not positive though and the same thing has happened to me this month. I don't think there is any way for you to know for sure though. I'm sorry I'm not much help
