Urine after sex

Hi,

we are trying to have our second baby for more than a year now. I was conceived with my first one without any issue. My periods cycle now prolonged. I bought a Ovulation monitor and tracked my body cycle. But still no luck. Ok, I will come to my question part. I feel like urinating right after the sex. When I do that, Am I loosing all the sperms, thats why I am not having a baby?

usually they always suggest that you lie there for at least 1/2 hour and elevate you hip by put the pillow under it at least 1/2 hour in order for sperm swim through your canal.  If you do IUI, my doctor ordered me lie down for 1/2 hour as well.   I think somehow sperm did came out when you stand up and go to pee.  more chance for sperm to stay is lie down for 1/2 after BD.

No that shouldn't be a problem.  You are actually just losing the left over ejaculate.  Sperm swim pretty fast.  Just for kicks, I tend to stay in bed for around 10 - 15 minutes, sometimes with my hips elevated.  I'm sure it doesn't help - but makes be feel better!
