WHEN DO I TAKE METFORMIN

my doc put me on metformin and my 3rd cycle of clomid he said take the clomid on day 3-7 of my period but im not sure what day i take the metformin please help

i have pcos. the doc just prescribed it i havent even picked it up yet i was just anxious to know thank u so much

I thought you take it every day! How many is in the rx? And for how long. And the dose. Just look at the rx and how many you are to take a day and see how many are in the bottle. If it is a month supply then that is what you should take. If it is not call your dr and ask. I never heard of taking it anything other then everyday and you can't just go off of it once you start cuz it effects the way your endrocan system works. I kinda works for it and it will shut down and let the meds take over.

You can start taking it today if you have it already...and continue taking it everyday!  It's not just a fertility drug.. You most likely have an insulin resistance  (pcos?) and it will help with that!
