We want a baby so bad!!!

I was 23 when the doctor told me i had to have a hysterectomy at the time i was ok with it because I have 2 beautiful children and didn't think i wanted anymore. He said he was only doing a partial and i would still have my ovaries should i ever change my mind and want to have more children. Since then I divorce my husband and got remarried. My new husband has no children of his own and just finished fighting cancer and we want another child. I have read about women getting preg. after having a hysterectomy and delivering a healthy baby, about women who have had the embryo implanted into their stomach and delivering a health baby, and i have heard of women who's uterus grew back after a hysterectomy. So I guess what I am asking is what are the chances of this happening and is it possible to have a child with my husband. we banked his sperm before he started chemo. but we do not have the 12 thousand dollars to have the IVF and surrogate. Could someone PLEASE help me with this.. Thank you so much from the depths of my soul

actually it is possible... rare and very dangerous but possible. It really depends on how far you are willing to go to try and have a child and if you think the risks are worth it. After I post this i did some more research and found out a lot more info on it. If I go through my doctor to do this it will still cost me the same amount of money but i will also be on bed rest until I am ready to deliver and they will have to do a c section. But thank you for trying to help.

Hello,

if you had a hysterectomy there is no possibility that you can carry your own child.  If you have cost issues, the only way perhaps may be if you have a relative who willing and able to help which may cost a little less.

Sorry about this.

Best wishes.
