Weight Affect Fertility?

Hi, I know a woman's weight affects her fertility, but what about the man? My husband is about 25-30 lbs overweight, and just recently started exercising. When he becomes a healthy weight, will that increases our chances of having a baby? Thanks!

Yes what i have heard is that weight affects fertility in both males and females...being on optimal weight increases the quality of eggs in females and sperms in males. Good luck!

I am not sure if it does affect the man.. but it never hurts to try... you can try talking to a doc and hear what they say... good luck on your journey!!
