What to expect after IUI

So here is our story I knew my husband in passing for about a year. He came to my birthday party May 24, 2007, I had just turned 33. He was 34 and we clicked immediately, he was glued to me from that day. We started dating and shortly became engaged (July 2007), we decided on a wedding date of Sept 15, 2007. about a week before the wedding I was having some strong and sharp pains in my lower ab, so I went to the doctor and she said I was preg and schedule an ultrasound for the next day. When we did the ultrasound they saw nothing...and there was no heart beat. The assumed it was ectopic so I was sent to the hospital and given a Methotrexate shot and told that I would natural miscarry. And on my wedding I started to do just that.... So by late October I got and new positive on my pregnancy test and after reaching 9 weeks I miscarried, which I was told could be expected because it takes some time for the Methotrexate to leave my system. So we continued to have unprotected sex and I found myself pregnant in 2010 and after reaching 13 weeks I miscarried and again 2012 made it to 12 weeks and miscarried and then again 2013 I made it to 8 weeks and miscarried... so we took a much needed break and I seriously started speaking to my doctor about it.... She assured me it was normal... That more then 50% of Pregnancies result in miscarriage.. but because I am very in tuned with my body I notice the slightest changes that most women would not notice and it would be just thought of as a late period not and actual miscarriage. So she started running basic test and having me monitor my ovulation and planning my intercourse accordingly so after a year of that with no success she sent me to a Fertility specialist. I was tested for everything and they found two growths one inside the uterine cavitiy and one in the uterine lining. But they where so small that I was told it had no bearing on the miscarriages. So since there was nothing physically stopping me from conceive they tested my husbands sperm for quality and mobility. The mobility was fine, the quantity was fine the quality was not the best. But even still he should be able to get me pregnant and he has a son from a previous relationship. So the thought was I must not be ovulating every month because I should have been pregnant a lot more then I had. So I was prescribed clomid and tried it for 4 months and no success. So my doctor performed a Hysteroscopy (a procedure that allows your doctor to look inside your uterus in order to diagnose and treat possible issues. Hysteroscopy is done using a hysteroscope, a thin, lighted tube that is inserted into the vagina to examine the cervix and inside of the uterus). During the procedure he saw that the growth inside my uterus was not a fibroid as previously assumed but a polyp that he subsequently removed and sent to be biopsied. It came back as non cancerous so we decided that based on my age 41 and my husband 42 we are closely approaching the end of our journey for possibly having children so we needed to put the pedal to the metal. So we opted for IUI, I was told that I am very healthy and my egg count was higher then it should be, which supports the theory that I was not ovulating like I was suppose to. But the plus is that I have better then average quality of eggs at my age which gives me a better then average chance at IUI. So March 19, 2016 I started a dosage of 150mg of Clomid, on March 23, 2016 I did an ultrasound and I had 2 follicles, one on each side and one measuring 22mm. So I was given my trigger shot that day and told to bring in a fresh sample on Friday. They performed the sperm wash and I was injected with a significated amount (10,000) of sperm and was told to have sex on Sunday for added measure. So today Sunday, March 27, 2016 I am noticing a tightness in my lower ab and some light cramping. Not sure if that’s good or bad but I know this will be the longest 2 weeks of my life. I know that the Trigger shot can give a false positive so I need to wait for at least 12 days piui before testing. I will wait to see if my cycle starts on April 3, 2016, before I start getting excited.
