I had my second IVF attempt with ICSI and AH on 7/25/08.  I took 2 pregancy tests yesterday 8/6/08.   They came back positive.

Is it possible that it is correct?   Would HCG still be in my system from the trigger shot...or could I actually be pregnant??

Great point. I didn't even think about the test line being lighter in color. I'm sure I'd take so many of them myself & still wouldn't be able to relax until I saw the RE & had the beta results. ;o)

Mack...make sure you post the results fr. beta when you get them. Congrats again. ;o)

Take another HPT today.  If the line is getting fainter then it may be hcg from the trigger.  If the line stays the same or is getting darker then it's a BFP.  
I think it's a BFP but only your blood test can confirm that for sure.

I'm not sure about meds being in your system, etc., but when I did my test...it came back negative & it was, so to you  I say.... CONGRATULATIONS!!! Sooooo excited for you lady!!! That's a 13 days test...you get the beta done on day 14 right? You ARE DEF BFP!!! Whooohooo. Congratulations lady. Sooo happy for you...I love BFP's & right now...it really helps me that someone has gotten a BFP. I know you are apprehensive, but I'd say 2 twist seals it. ;o)

How many IVF's have you done? This is fantastic. Yes...you are definitely preggers. I did my test the night before my beta...BFN & the beta...BFN. So...Congrats again.
