bright red bleeding please help.......

My wife is 11 weeks pregnant.   with twins,  she has done well,  and all the levels were extremely high,   she has had brownish spotting,  we went back every week,   and did Ultra sound,    everything was fine,    just take it easy and rest.   Today,  she woke up,  and had some bright red bleeding,   it stopped pretty quick,  two hours later,  she had just a little bleeding and a small clot,  the size of a small pecan.     we have seen the babies,  and they were both doing well,  the previous week.    We are very concerned,  our next appt for an  ultra sound is next weds.   anyone experience this,  your help is greatly appreciated.  thank you.

Was she in pain when she passed the clot ?  could be a haematoma.  I wsa pregnant with triplet s and that happened to me.  after I passed the clot my bleed changed to  dark brown, lasted a couple of days and I was fine.  Don't worry I am sure she will be fine but she with your Dr.  I was told to save all clots

I had a set of twins and at 10 weeks I started bleeding. I went to the ER and my twins were doing fine. I was admitted overnight for observation. The bleeding subsided. I was told to make sure that I stay really well hydrated, as dehydration can cause a spontaneous miscarriage. My twins are now getting ready to turn 6. Bleeding doesn't always mean the worst outcome. I had to make sure that I was drinking at least 64oz of water a day and I had to eat 6 small meals plus two snacks a day. But that was my situation. I would always discuss any concerns with your MD. Wishing u the best!

Sorry I can't be of much help, except that i've heard of spotting and bleeding during pregnancies, its totally normal for some women. The best thing would be to consult her doctor.
Good luck!
