brown mucus on day of embryo transfer

I passed some brown mucuc on the evening of embryo transfer (yesterday) and now I can't stop worrying. I had some brown discharge the day prior (I guess due to egg retrieval) - is this a bad sign? I'm worried that I've passed the embryos out - is that ridiculous? Looking for some re-assurance...

Hi
The consultant looking after us ran all the tests you could possibly run for us... immunity, genetic, you name it - and all came back clear - so no medical reason - just one of those things...
Hoping these stick!

D***, I need to move to Scotland. We live in the good ole USA, and it's very rare insurance companies pay for an infertility. My husbands insurance did but mine nothing. And I work for the government. Good Luck to you, This will be your time. Do you know why the other's didn't take?

Thanks so much for getting back to me ladies. I feel much better now and there is now no trace of any colour. Good luck to ascott and anyone else now on the 2ww. I live in Ayrshire (Scotland) so we're very lucky that the NHS pays for 3 cycles. This is cycle number 3 so we're hoping it's 3rd time lucky! Thanks again for your reassuring replies! Cx

Houston is right. I had my transfer was today. On my "after transfer" instruction sheet under "common/normal occurrences after transfer: spotting and cramping for a few days after transfer, also noticing brown vaginal discharge and/or bleeding. This is straight from the sheet. Hope this makes you feel better. Try not to worry. Everything will be okay.

Hi! I had that too and my RE said it was old blood from the retrieval when they used that big long needle. Don't worry-you're probably just fine!  You wouldn't be able to see the embryos-but you're not ridiculous!  IVF costs alot of money and you are just taking care of yourself!
