i thought i was off my period so me and my boyfriend had unprotecd sex and he came in me and i was still bleeding a little can i still get pregnant?

The fact that you are being told you can't get pregnant while you have your period is wrong some women can get pregnant while on their period. Every woman is different. I have a family member who got pregnant while on her period. Its just like someone say you can't get pregnant while on birth control. My mother got pregnant two times while on birth control.  Every woman and every pregnancy is different

I would try every other day from now until the 14 to cover your bases

so my first day of my last period was on aug 27.so when do you think i should try?

Well if yu are trying to get pregnant the best time to try is 10-14 days after the first day of yer period...while its possible to get pregnant when yu had sex its not as likely as during yer fertile times

You can. But I wouldn't worry if you don't miss your next period. But if you do, just take a test. :)
