cyct after failed IUI

Hi, I am new here.  Nice to meet you all.
As the title shows, just found out at my baseline cd3 u/s that there are some cysts in my ovaries, one at right, two at left.  The biggest one is almost 4 cm!
No symptoms but re on duty cancelled iui for this cycle and told me to follow up with my regular re.
That was my third iui, I do not know if I had those cysts before since I had rest cycle after the 2nd ended up with chemical pg and did not go u/s.
How long will it take these to go away?  Can I still ttc?

I am currently 7 days past and iui and I have two very large cysts in my left ovary. I did have u/s before and after ovulation and it turns out I o'd with two eggs in the right ovary and none on the left. The cysts were very painful for a couple of days and now they are just bothersome. I asked her if they would effect my getting pg or the next cycle and she said they should just dissolve. It is if they don't that they would intevene with birth control, etc. I had cysts last month too, but they weren't this big, and they still went ahead with the cycle. I guess every situation is unique, but I would ask about having a FUS after the hcg shot to see which follies ruptured and which didn't. The hcg makes you ovulate but it doesn't gguarantee the follies will rupture-hence the two that didn't on my left side. I just think it is so wierd that some do and some don't. Supposedly it is normal though, especially on injectables. Oh, and I have never heard of anyone having more than one shot, just more that one iui. Hope some of that helps!

No, my re is on vacation and thers is nobody to decide for this cycle for me.
They never found a cyst at baseline u/s last 3 times before iui so I hope it is temporary and will go away soon but I difenitely do not want them to burst!
Thank you for the advice.

Did your RE put you on birth control pills for the rest cycle. Birth control pills will help dissolve the cyst. Your RE probably wont let you continue until the cyst are dissolved. This is to alleviate any pain you may have when/if you get pregnant. Cyst are very painful if they burst. I had a cyst going into my first cycle of IUI after a failed clomid cycle. We have decided to go IVF. My RE put me on birth control to dissolve the cyst. In week 2 on the BC pills the cyst was gone. Everyone is different but just an idea.

I found another thread about ovarian cyst but let me post another question here.
So I contacted the office but my re is on vacation and his next available appt is the end of August, probably I will start next cycle before then.

Anyway, the cycts, I think I may have had before(no major pains or anything but sometimes I feel sharp pain when I couhg/sneeze), may have been contributing my short cycles (sometimes 23 days, L phase is about 12 days).
I mean, I used to think I should try progesterone soppliment to extend the cycle but if I did not ovutale at the first place, not enough progesterone, no need it anyway if there is no eggs.
Especially the last cycle, I had natural LH surge but re told me to do hcg shot "just in case".
I guess still I did not o...

It seems hcg short only comes with 1 strength, not like fsh, anyone has had more than 1 shot at a time?
Has anyone had checked if you really o'd by u/s?

Most cysts go away after one rested cycle.  And I would definitely continue trying TTC!

Good luck!
