What do you all think of my 1st Beta levels??

I got a positive result today and I'm super excited, but a little concerned about my levels.

Here is a little bit of information about me:

I had IVF and my transfer was on 06-27-10. Today is 07-09-10 and I had my first beta test. So today is 11 days past the transfer date or 12 days if the transfer day is included.

I had two embryos transferred. ICSI for both. No pregnancy symptoms, in fact I think my breast are shrinking!

==============
Progesterone level:
14

Estrogen level:
873

Beta HCG level:
1062
==============

What do you all think of my levels?

I spoke with my wonderful nurse and she said everything looks great, but the progesterone level will need to increase to about 20. I'm now on 2cc of progesterone in oil instead of 1.5cc....beginning tomorrow.

Have any of you ever experienced a low level of progesterone? How low is this level of 14? I'd love to hear all about it, if so.

Thank you :)

llayton2010 I hope you have lady luck by your side, lol. But yeah, I would be extremely grateful to have one healthy baby and two would be a bonus :)

the number doesn't have anything with predicting number of babies, I'm just betting on 2! :)

Thank you, ladies!

I'm hoping everything evens out with my progesterone levels and the constant light cramps are always on my mind, but I'm relaxing more now :P

llayton2010,

You think it's twins? I thought beta numbers had nothing to with predicting the number of babies (I have no clue), but I like your idea! lol

my progesterone was low after my first beta, around 13, i think?  Anyway, they supplemented me with suppositories twice a day and my level went right up.  My nurse said as long as it is over 20 it is fine.  She also said it is typical for it to go up and down, so down stress about that either.  Your beta is GREAT! I bet it's twins!

I don't know anything about progesterone or estrogen levels either, but your beta looks GREAT. Congratulations! :)

your beta is great.
my clinic does not even measure progesterone unless you have a history of a problem so i don't think it's as important honestly.  they just kept me on progesterone supplements until  6 weeks pregnant, then had me stop.
