Hi there,
Varicocele are enlarged veins in the scrotum. Varicoceles seem to help damage or kill the sperm. A repair surgery helps improve fertility and semen quality. Varicocele repair typically is done on an outpatient basis. A testicular cyst is a smooth growth in or on a testicle which is caused by injury or inflammation. Treatment for a testicular cyst depends on the extent of its growth and the discomfort caused by it. A large cyst which may be painful may need to be removed surgically. It is best to discuss your queries with his attending doctor. Do keep me posted on how he is doing.
Best luck and regards!
