Hi Ready_2_be: yes, I read an article about that. Sadly, my RE seems to not know anything about it. I'll have to send him an article link.
So, you did not have it to diagnose anything, but to help w/ IVF?
Awesome ready to b I am going to dr about one june 14 he thinks I have an implantation problem I hope it works just failed second ivf
Hi There:
Yes mhv is right...I had an endo biopsy because my RE has noticed that the added blood circulation required to heal the biopsy aids in IVF success. His success rates were good but since adding this procedure they went up another 15 to 20%. This breakthrough is startng to become popular at many of the high success rate IVF clinics. If you google Endometium Biopsy improves IVF success some clinics have articles explaining why. I am very sold on it.
It takes about 90 seconds once the RE gets started. My RE gave me a local pain block which stung for 4 seconds, after that I did not feel anything. I bled a light to medium period type of bleeding for 4 days (which is normal and good).
I believe mine was preformed 24 days before my transfer. This was my first transfer. My RE transfered two 5 day blasts and I became and am still pregnant with twins!
You can Ready_2_Be, she had one and is now preggers with twins!! Good Luck
