fertility drug reaction??

hi! last month my RE had me do the clomid challenge. i took clomid and she said it worked very well for me. (one of my fallopian tubes have been removed from an ectopic pregnancy and the other has too much scar tissue.) my question is, i got my period for this month but it was not normal. it was very slimy and stringy. i've never seen that before. its day 3 and i havn't seen a change yet. also my breast look a little bigger and are very tender right now, which also is unusual considering it's day 3 of my period and they still hurt. is this common after taking clomid medicine the month before? (sorry about the tmi!)

After my first cycle with 50mg of Clomid my period was early and very short (about 2-3 days) and is usually 5 days regularly. I know Clomid helps you ovulate and ovulate faster so maybe that is the reason for it coming quicker. Not really sure why it was stringy. I've only had that happen once before and it was while I was m/c at 5 weeks. I would call your OB and ask them whatever questions you have. I hope you find your answer. Good luck!

I also had a strange period from the clomid challenge. Mine was extrememly dark and very short. You could always call your RE and schedule a test. My RE gave me one even though I got my AF.
