Every woman's metabolism is different but it is usually recommended to take up pregnancy test about 10 days after the shot. By this time the synthetic hCG should be gone and you should be able to test for pregnancy without detecting the shot. However, it is best to ask your doctor about the recommended protocol for your dosage .Keep me posted.
